Medical Experience
Dr Pardoe has been practicing Western Acupuncture since he qualified in Medicine at the University of Birmingham (UK) in 1985.

After completing hospital based specialities in General Medicine, Accident and Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics he worked in General Practice in Birmingham from 1989-2000
Since 2000 he has been practicing Acupuncture in private clinics and also holds the post of Medical Director of Henderson Morley plc- a research based biotechnology company listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM.

 

   

Acupuncture Experience And Training
In 1984, Dr Pardoe studied Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at the Guangzhou college of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Since this time he has been actively and regularly practicing Acupuncture and is an Accredited Member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) holding the Diploma of Medical Acupuncture. He has written numerous articles on the subject for publication in a wide range of journals and magazines. He has also acted as an external examiner in post graduate degree courses and as an expert witness.

He has been working with the BMAS as a lecturer on basic and intermediate courses and held the post of Chairman of the Education committee of the society, when he contributed to the development of the societies Practice Guidelines.

He has extensive experience in the treatment of all forms of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, rehabilitation following operations as well as a wide range of other medical conditions. His practice includes patients who are international athletes, professional boxers and martial artists, professional performers and musicians as well as premiership footballers.

He continues to develop his expertise by regular attendance at BMAS professional development courses and by interaction with fellow practitioners.
